Att vara kristen är att vara ett "Jesus-ljus". I bibeln står det om att Jesus är världens ljus och eftersom vi har Honom på insidan så är vi tänkte att vara "Jesus-ljus" för världen. Att vara ett ljus betyder att man har en kärleksfull attityd, att man SER andra människor och att man bryr sig om andra - att visa på sin tro! "Actions speak louder than words" kan vara väldigt sant. Ibland behöver man inte prata om Jesus för att folk ska förstå att det är ett sådant ljus man är för att man visar det genom handlingar istället.
Att vara kristen handlar också om att lägga ner sin egen vilja för att följa Guds väg för ens liv. I kyrkan säger man att man har en "kallelse" - Gud har kallat oss till olika saker i livet. Vissa ska hålla på med musik, andra ska undervisa. Vissa ska leda kyrkan, andra ska laga mat och utfodra ungdomarna (MYCKET MYCKET viktigt, ja skulle må kässt utan alla fantastiska människor som lagar mat på läger och i kyrkan). Ja, du fattar. Och när man blir kristen så väljer man att följa Guds väg med ens liv och det är SÅ BRA! Livet blir både INTRESSANT och ROLIGT!

Det är lätt att tro på Gud när livet är på topp och man är glad, det är inte riktigt lika lätt när man har det tungt och när livet är en uppförsbacke. Men det är lika viktigt att tycka att det inte finns någon annan än Gud både när livet är fantastiskt och när det är surt. Man behöver Honom oavsett hur livet ser ut. Man behöver Honom att dela sin glädje med och man behöver Honom att bära en när man är på väg att falla. Hur livet än ser ut så finns det INGEN utom Gud!

Om vi vill, lär vi känna Gud lite till varje dag men ingen kommer någonsin till fullo förstå hur djup Hans kärlek till oss är eller hur stor Han faktiskt är. Och vet du vad?! Det gör mig inget, det betyder bara att jag hela tiden får upptäcka hur mycket Han älskar mig, hur stor Han är och vem Han är och jag får hela tiden lära mig nya saker om den ENDE guden! Fantastiskt!
